The upgraded software is designed to improve teamwork and communication between healthcare personnel via live consultations through their Web or mobile devices. Reports can also be created using voice dictation to complete patient records immediately, according to the company.
Other features include the following:
- Voice and video collaboration, connecting providers with other providers and their patients
- Image sharing between facilities and providers, reducing the need to physically transfer images
- Integration to electronic medical record (EMR) systems by Epic, Cerner, and Allscripts, providing a complete view of patient records
- XDS integration for better accessibility and record sharing across or between healthcare enterprises
