Carestream Health plans to highlight new software for clinical collaboration at the upcoming Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society annual meeting (HIMSS 2015) in Chicago.
The company's Clinical Collaboration Platform allows providers to identify and share patient data as they make diagnostic and treatment decisions. The information can also be shared with patients during consultations, according to Carestream.
The platform can be integrated into facilities' existing IT networks via modules that include a Web-based data component that identifies unstructured data so that it can be connected to a specific patient; a module that allows physicians to access current and prior reports and imaging studies, as well as patients' clinical history using Carestream's Vue Motion viewer; a patient portal that allows patients to view, download, and manage their clinical data; and a business dashboard component, Carestream said.
