Medical software company VisionSR has completed a license agreement with the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
The package, called ViSion, captures diagnostic images and radiologists' voice descriptions, tagging the images with terms that describe anatomical locations and radiological diagnoses, the company said.
In addition to improving accuracy and efficiency of radiology reporting, ViSion can gather metrics from multiple imaging studies to automate disease response criteria, such as the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST).
