Speech recognition technology developer M*Modal has announced enhancements to its Fluency Direct front-end speech software.
Changes include better electronic health record (EHR) integration and customization, as well as improved efficiency, with new functionality to reduce the amount of time needed to personalize and train the system, according to the company. In addition, Fluency Direct's Computer Assisted Physician Documentation (CAPD) has been integrated with M*Modal's CDI clinical documentation platform, providing real-time messaging and alerts to improve patient record accuracy.
M*Modal will showcase Fluency Direct at this week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2015 conference in Chicago.
