MedInformatix signs Texas firm

Healthcare IT firm MedInformatix has signed US Imaging, a Houston-based family practice.

US Imaging, which first installed MedInformatix v7.5 software in 2007, now includes 10 outpatient medical imaging facilities throughout Texas, as well as sleep and ambulatory surgical centers.

The practice uses MedInformatix's RIS and billing suite software with separate providers for voice recognition and PACS. US Imaging is in the process of upgrading to MedInformatix v7.6 across all of its diagnostic, sleep, and surgical centers.
