Nuance Communications will unveil version 3.5 of its PowerScribe 360 radiology reporting and communication software at the upcoming RSNA meeting in Chicago.
Version 3.5 enables users to create multimedia radiology reports by embedding relevant PACS images, according to the vendor. In addition, Nuance has incorporated advanced lung cancer screening registry reporting. Thanks to a new PowerShare registry reporting service, PowerScribe 360 3.5 can pull data directly from radiology reports of lung cancer screening patients and automatically transfer relevant information to the American College of Radiology (ACR) National Radiology Data Registry, Nuance said.
The new software release also includes updates to its quality guidance feature, adding new evidence-based clinical guidance for radiologists based on recommendations from the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC), the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound (SRU), and the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST).
