LEAD Technologies releases upgrades

Imaging tool development firm LEAD Technologies has released upgrades to its LEADtools document and medical product software.

The update includes improvements to the company's LEADtools Advantage optical character recognition (OCR) engine that boost its speed, accuracy, and memory use.

The company has also improved its document imaging package: New features include faster loading times, support for PDF forms and digital signatures, and the ability to use ASP.NET MVC with LEAD Technologies' document viewer tool, which can also now load from SharePoint, OneDrive, and Google Docs, according to the firm.

Finally, LEAD Technologies has upgraded its medical viewer control to include a new patient restrict option, as well as several new display features for sorting, splitting, and scrolling series.
