Radiology data-mining and analytics software developer Montage Healthcare Solutions plans to launch a new research network.
The Montage Collaborative Research Network will enable multisite and cross-institutional research queries and analytics for health policy, population health, and radiology research, according to the firm.
The company plans to conduct a pilot study with participants including the University of California, Los Angeles; Radiology Associates of Canton/RadHelp; the Baltimore Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center; the University of Pennsylvania; Tufts University; and the Harvey L. Neiman Health Policy Institute.
Once the pilot study is complete, users of the company's Search and Analytics software will be able to opt-in to the network, which will allow them to pose queries and get aggregated calculated results from other participating members, Montage said.
In aggregate, Montage indexes more than 200 million radiology reports across its network.
