RIS/PACS firm Novarad will direct attention to enhancements in its virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) technology at the upcoming Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual meeting in Las Vegas.
For example, the firm's NovaGlass VDI now includes remote desktop session host (RDSH) functionality from the same server as the virtual desktop, according to Novarad. In addition, Novarad's Universal Viewer for its vendor-neutral archive now includes patient storyboarding, which allows users to see all of a patient's details, the company said.
Novarad partner Sphere 3D will also showcase its wares, including enhancements to its Glassware 2.0 technology and V3 VDI offerings, in Novarad's booth at HIMSS 2016.
