Enterprise imaging firm Visage Imaging will showcase the latest release of its Visage 7 enterprise imaging platform next week at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) annual meeting in Portland, OR.
Features of Visage 7.1.8 include Privacy Mode, which is designed to anonymize the study browser and view screen for better protection of protected health information and compliance in ad-hoc demonstration situations, according to the vendor.
The new software also includes a breast imaging "sweep mode" for digital breast tomosynthesis studies. In addition, Visage said it has enhanced the software's multimodality hanging protocol and layout engine and incorporated new brain perfusion features.
Visage 7.1.8 also features improved handling of movies and cine clips, including native export of MPEG4 clips from embedded movie objects, Visage said. Other new upgrades include DICOM support for 3D-enhanced ultrasound images and new messaging capabilities.
