Cloud-based software developer Ambra Health will launch an initiative at RSNA 2016 in Chicago later this month aimed at fostering networking and mentorship opportunities for women in digital health and informatics.
Called RAD Women (RADxx), the idea for the initiative came from radiologist Dr. Geraldine McGinty and Ambra Health Chief Marketing Officer Mini Peiris. The initiative will formally get underway at a reception held on Tuesday, November 29, at RSNA 2016. All women who are involved in radiology, informatics, and IT management of radiology systems can join the group via LinkedIn, Ambra Health said.
