Advanced visualization firm TeraRecon has partnered with Vizua, a cloud technology provider.
The two are working together to make large-volume rendered images accessible anywhere, the firms said.
At RSNA 2016 in Chicago, TeraRecon is demonstrating its 3D models rendered in the Microsoft HoloLens using Vizua's web application technology to improve the communication between the user and the cloud. The streaming platform facilitates interactions between disparate archived data stored in clouds worldwide, according to the vendors.
The application will provide TeraRecon users with access to graphic processing unit (GPU)-accelerated cloud rendering, even in non-GPU-enabled clouds.
