Breast imaging software developer Ikonopedia is showcasing its new Closed-Loop Resolution Manager system at RSNA 2016 in Chicago.
The system tracks patients through each stage of the exam process and is designed to know when a patient returns for a follow-up, closing the loop automatically at that time or sending an alert if the patient is overdue. Specific reports can be generated for high-risk patients who have not returned for follow-up, according to the vendor.
The structured reporting system is compliant with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA), and its toolset is targeted and automated to monitor patients in all categories of care. Data are captured from the patient questionnaire, risk-assessment, tech report, clinical report, follow-up recommendations, and more. Then the data are monitored to produce automatic warnings and alerts along with personalized patient letters and a detailed report for the referring physicians.
Ikonopedia is demonstrating the new system at the RSNA booth for Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas, an integration partner.
