Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas introduced its Exa Enterprise Imaging platform at this week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference in Orlando, FL.
Exa Enterprise Imaging features a zero-footprint universal viewer application for DICOM and non-DICOM images, server-side image rendering for fast access to large files without prefetching, and a vendor-neutral archive for central storage of images, according to the vendor. Konica Minolta is also directing attention to security features on Exa Enterprise Imaging, which does not transfer or store any data on workstations to minimize unwanted exposure to patient data.
