Storage developer Commvault and advanced visualization software developer TeraRecon are highlighting the integration of Commvault's Clinical Archive with TeraRecon's iNtuition Enterprise Medical Viewer (iEMV) at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference in Orlando, FL.
In an initiative targeting subsecond access to images at scale, the firms have developed a multichannel, standards-based interface using the Web Access to DICOM Persistent Objects (WADO) standard that enables full-frame rate display of cine images and smooth scrolling of large datasets, according to Commvault. The integration of Clinical Archive and iEMV supports all major electronic medical record, PACS, and vendor-neutral archive architectures, Commvault said.
