Varian acquires decision-support firm

Varian Medical Systems has purchased Evinance Innovation, a clinical decision-support company. The deal expands Varian's 360 Oncology care management platform.

The company plans to integrate Evinance Decision Support into 360 Oncology to offer visual care pathways and compliance tracking based on the evidence-based guidelines from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and other sources, according to the firm.
