Advanced visualization firm TeraRecon, artificial intelligence (AI) technology provider EnvoyAI, and cloud-based software company Ambra Health have announced a new collaboration at this week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference in Las Vegas.
As a result of the partnership, healthcare providers can implement an AI strategy through an Ambra image exchange workflow with access to AI algorithms on the EnvoyAI Exchange, leveraging their current PACS or TeraRecon viewers, according to the vendors.
In other TeraRecon developments at HIMSS 2018, the company is unveiling its Northstar AI results viewer. The latest version of the prototype viewer can now interact with EnvoyAI results, allowing users to accept, reject, and adjust the EnvoyAI-derived findings, according to the firm.
Northstar can be embedded into all major PACS viewing platforms, as well as the Ambra Health platform for referring physician access to AI and TeraRecon's iNtuition advanced interpretation tools, the vendor said.
