The RAD Women (RADxx) networking group for women in imaging informatics is now accepting nominations for its second annual RADxx awards, sponsored by Ambra Health.
First launched in 2017, the RADxx awards this year will honor four individuals who have led the way in contributing to medical imaging informatics or supported the career advancement of women in the field.
In addition to the three award categories from last year -- RADxx Trailblazer, Advocate, and Rising Star -- this year's awards will include the category of RADxx Champion, which recognizes individuals who have helped sponsor the career development of women in medical imaging informatics.
Online submission of nominations will remain open until November 10. The group will announce the winners at a reception during the RSNA 2018 meeting in Chicago.
