At RSNA 2018, speech recognition technology developer M*Modal is launching artificial intelligence (AI)-supported follow-up workflow management software to help radiology departments track and manage incidental findings.
The Scout Follow-Up workflow software sifts through structured and unstructured data in radiology reports and adds contextual understanding to this information to uncover actionable findings, according to the company.
The software enables clinicians to flag and supplement manual report reviews and supports screening protocols, including Lung-RADS, and evidence-based guidelines for incidental findings, M*Modal said.
The worklist and prioritization functionality used for monitoring and tracking findings is compatible with all leading EHRs, PACS, and RIS.
