Cardiovascular software developer Ascend Cardiovascular and Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas announced at RSNA 2025 that they have formed a strategic partnership to deliver a unified and complete enterprise imaging solution for hospital cardiology departments and cardiology practices.
The partnership will combine Konica Minolta’s cloud-based EXO enterprise solution with Ascend’s expertise in multimodality cardiovascular imaging workflows. The planned integrated platform is intended to provide work-specialized workflows and tools for cardiac cases, including invasive and noninvasive applications for both adult and pediatric patients.
The collaboration will address the need for integrated imaging platforms that empower clinicians across all cardiovascular subspecialties, without the compromises that can come from using all-encompassing, single-vendor systems, the companies stated.
