Aycan Medical Systems and Image Information Systems North America (iQ IMAGE) have embarked on new joint operations in Rochester, NY.
Parent company Paratus, which acquired aycan in 2023, announced the move and iQ IMAGE's relocation from Charlotte, NC, to the Rochester office with aycan. The company also maintains aycan's European headquarters in Wuerzburg, Germany.
At RSNA 2025, aycan featured its "deconstructed PACS model" and petabyte vendor-neutral archive (VNA) designed for enterprise-level data storage and performance. Aycan store includes an HL7 engine for triggered inbound and outbound automations, feature-rich prefetching, report delivery, and message brokering, according to the firm.
In August, aycan announced the availability of an updated MedDream DICOM viewer (Version 8.7.0) from MedDream, for which aycan offers integration service and support.
