Bruker's superconductors have been included in two multiyear MRI magnet supply agreements with a combined value of approximately $500 million.
The company's Bruker Energy and Supercon Technologies (BEST) division said that under the agreements, it will deliver its superconductors for MRI magnet production sites in the U.S. and U.K. from its manufacturing sites in Europe and the U.S.
The superconductors support new helium-free MRI magnet architectures by maintaining field stability and homogeneity requirements, according to the firm.
