Medical imaging software developer DesAcc has released DICOMgateway, an automation and batch-processing server aimed at users who require specific movement of image data within, and outside, their clinical environment. DICOMgateway provides rule-driven DICOM and FTP forwarding of received DICOM files along with file format conversion and compression, according to the Chicago-based firm. The Windows-based application has a list price of $2,499, which includes one year’s technical support.
