Israeli PACS provider Algotec has introduced Imaginet Lite, a Web-based PACS targeted at low-volume imaging facilities. The company rolled out the software at last week's Symposium for Computer Applications in Radiology in Cleveland.
Imaginet Lite has a retail price of under $100,000, and is designed for facilities with an annual imaging volume of up to 75,000 procedures, according to the Raanana-based firm.
Based on the same software modules as Algotec's standard Imaginet PACS software, Imaginet Lite's centerpiece is version 4.0 of Algotec's MediSurf Web-based image access engine, according to the vendor. Algotec said that Imaginet Lite can be configured to run solely on off-the-shelf hardware.
