Canadian imaging vendor Cedara Software reported fiscal third-quarter revenues of $7.3 million (U.S.), down 17% compared with the $8.8 million recorded from continuing operations in the same period last year. For the quarter (end-March 31), the Mississauga, Ontario-based firm had a net profit of $1.4 million, including a gain of $1.7 million from discontinued operations.
In the third quarter last year, Cedara had a net loss of $3.9 million. Cedara is making progress toward building operating profit, rebuilding its balance sheet, and growing its business on a sound foundation, said chairman and CEO Michael Greenberg.
