Swedish PACS firm Sectra-Imtec has signed a contract to digitize all radiology operations within Västmanland County in Sweden. Västmanland County includes four hospitals with an approximate annual imaging volume of 150,000 studies, according to Sectra.
Installation is expected to begin in the fall of 2002. The Linkoping-based vendor values the order at $4.5 million (U.S.).
