SmartPACS gets Saints Memorial contract

SmartPACS has signed a deal to provide Saint Memorial Medical Center, a 195-bed community hospital in Lowell, MA, with its ASP-based PACS. The Irvington, NJ-based vendor will act as integrator for the project, providing Fujifilm Medical Systems USA CR equipment, BarcoView flat-panel monitors, clinical viewing stations, and a level 5 RAID archive. The company is also designing and installing the system, which will encompass CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, digital radiography/fluoroscopy, and special procedures rooms.
