PACS and connectivity provider DeJarnette Research Systems has secured a contract to migrate existing PACS data at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. The Towson, MD-based firm will be working with representatives of Siemens Medical Solutions to move nearly a million exams from two GE Medical Systems archives to a new Siemens archive.
The migration will be performed using DeJarnette’s Advanced DICOM Interface Gateway. The product provides a migration database, a user interface to monitor the progress of migration, the capability to move studies and reports on an ad-hoc basis, and the ability to perform DICOM query/retrieve operations.
