DeJarnette gets PACS order

DeJarnette Research Systems of Towson, MD, has received an order to install 20 of the company’s VisiShare workstations at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, OH. The installation will allow physicians in 20 operating rooms to view images from the hospital’s existing Radiance PACS network, also installed by DeJarnette.

The hospital believes the equipment will enable it to reduce film usage in the surgical department. Surgeons will be able to view images on flat-panel monitors suspended from wall mounts to conserve floor space, DeJarnette said.
