Pegasus upgrades JPEG performance

Image compression firm Pegasus Imaging said it has doubled the decompression and display speed of its 8-bit gray-scale lossless JPEG algorithm. The lossless JPEG decompression scheme is available in the Tampa, FL-based firm's PICTools Medical Software Development Kit.
