Misys Healthcare Systems of Tucson has released an enhanced version of its flagship RIS product, Misys Radiology. The new version features Web access, and integrates the company’s voice recognition technology.
Misys said the enhanced version gives radiology departments the ability to improve turnaround times, improve information access, and achieve compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
Enhancements include: voice integration with advanced speech recognition through TalkStationRadiology, Web access to patient results data over an intranet through Misys WebView, exam questionnaire improvements that allow patient screening, database dictionaries, and extensive security and privacy features to help ensure HIPAA compliance.
