Archiving firm Storage Technology (StorageTek) reported revenue of $501.7 million for the third quarter of 2002, an increase of less than 1% compared to $498 million in sales for the third quarter of 2001. Revenue for the first nine months of 2002 was $1.45 billion, down slightly from the $1.48 billion reported in the first nine months of 2001.
The Louisville, CO, vendor had net income of $23.9 million for the third quarter of 2002, compared to net income of $17.9 million a year earlier. Net income for the first nine months of this year was $49 million, compared to net income of $27.2 million for the same period in 2001.
