PACS firm Stentor’s iSite Enterprise image and information management system can now be loaded onto Microsoft’s new Tablet PC, giving radiologists and other physicians instant wireless access to digital images and patient information, according to the company.
Tablet PC features pen- and voice-based data input in a wireless computer built like a notebook and using Windows XP-compatible applications.
South San Francisco-based Stentor’s iSite uses image-streaming technology to deliver diagnostic-quality images over existing hospital information technology networks.
