Camtronics acquires VMI Medical

Camtronics Medical Systems of Hartland, WI, has acquired medical information software company VMI Medical of Ottawa, Ontario. Camtronics, a subsidiary of Peabody, MA-based Analogic, produces cardiovascular image and information management workstations.

VMI specializes in information software solutions for pediatric heart centers. The two vendors have been collaborating on data analysis and patient tracking solutions for these centers.
