Image-streaming developer RealTimeImage has licensed its iPACS image-streaming technology to healthcare information technology firm HX Technologies. As a result, RealTimeImage's iPACS and Web-based image-access capabilities have been integrated into HX's iHistory work-in-progress multivendor PACS platform.
Designed to provide Web access to images and reports stored on PACS and RIS networks from multiple vendors, iHistory is currently being tested at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, according to RealTimeImage of San Bruno, CA, and HX of Morristown, NJ.
