Dutch healthcare IT company Medima Solutions has launched a new line of products designed to integrate paper and digital documents into PACS networks.
PacsScanner scans paper documents and stores the pages as a series of images within an existing PACS. Such documents can include imaging orders, insurance cards, lab reports, and handwritten notes.
PacsPrinter enables users to store computer-generated documents with previously archived images on a PACS, giving users the ability to view the documents on any PACS workstation. The software works with Microsoft Windows applications like Excel and Word, enabling users to send documents to the PACS using the "Print" option.
