Dear PACS Insider,
For all its benefits, PACS can occasionally bring frustration to even its most devoted users. Just ask Dr. Sam Friedman.
Friedman, a radiologist in the southeastern U.S. and a regular poster in AuntMinnie.com's PACS Digital Community Discussion Group under the tongue-in-cheek name Dalai Lama, has a few pet peeves. In a column for AuntMinnie.com, Friedman shares his concerns on a number of PACS interface design issues, including overly busy graphical user interfaces, unintuitive icons, and unnecessary complexity and inconsistency.
