DatCard is highlighting new functionality for its PacsCube CD/DVD publication device.
The company will focus attention on the integration of PacsCube and its MammoSmart mammography CD/DVD system onto one platform. In addition, DatCard is releasing an Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise portable data for imaging (IHE-PDI) media importer that comes standard with every PacsCube; it can also be purchased as a standalone software package.
The media import utility allows facilities to import studies/images and patient/study information from CDs or DVDs received from outside institutions, according to the Irvine, CA-based firm. Users can also query modality worklists to streamline the import process in finding patient and study information, DatCard said.
