Images-on-Call (IOC) will add to its PACSessories portfolio on the show floor.
New additions to the PACSessories line include updated or new software that digitizes plain films from various film digitizers and drops them into a PACS archive, according to the Dallas-based firm. Other new offerings include software that moves images between locations in a HIPAA-friendly environment, and displays images either remotely or within the enterprise, IOC said.
IOC will also present DICOM CD Burner, which burns CDs for patient/clinician use. It can be installed on a network-connected Windows XP-based PC and includes the CD viewer version of IOC's workstation software burned on each disk.
To burn images, users can send images to CD Burner from a modality console or PACS, IOC said. From the CD Burner database window, users then select the study to copy to CD, insert a blank CD, and click "Burn," IOC said.
