Sencor

Sencor will add ORstation, RemoteDICOM, and StopStation to its portfolio.

Designed for operating room (OR) applications, ORstation features a medical-grade touch screen with embedded workstation computer and viewer software, according to the Bloomington, MN-based firm. Sencor plans to release ORstation on November 15.

Sencor is also debuting RemoteDICOM, which provides remote CD creation, storage, and Web server service. Targeted at small to mid-range hospitals and imaging centers, RemoteDICOM doesn't require an equipment purchase; CDs/DVDs are available for $5 plus shipping and handling.

Offsite storage costs $1 per exam, and Web-viewable exams cost $1.50 per exam, Sencor said. Sencor expects to launch RemoteDICOM on November 15.

In other introductions, Sencor will debut StopStation, which functions as an automatically reconfiguring interface between mobile imaging vehicles and route stops. StopStation provides for moving patient data from the coach to the facility, and can create CDs/DVDs for patients and/or the route stop, Sencor said.

StopStation can be purchased with a Web and/or touchscreen interface. The product is expected to be available beginning November 26.
