DICOM connectivity firm NAI Tech Products of Auburn, CA, began operation as an independent business entity on February 23.
By separating from its original parent company, NAI Tech Products expects to expand sales and product development of its DVD technology. Paul Dempster has become president of NAI Tech Products. He most recently served as president of North American Imaging.
The x-ray tube, image intensifier, and ultrasound probe repair business of North American Imaging has been acquired by a strategic buyer. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
NAI Tech Product will remain headquartered in Auburn and will retain its current technical, sales, and administrative staff. The company is owned by McDonough Medical Products of Buffalo Grove, IL.
