NAI has announced it will consolidate the company's design and development services centers into one central location in Hermosillo, Mexico.
NAI's new Solutions Center will now house both the company's Industrial Center of Excellence and its Fiber Center of Excellence, which provide design and development services for industrial interconnected solutions and fiber optic technology, respectively. The center offers build-to-print, design assistance, and full-service design, the company noted.
The Industrial Center of Excellence will be located next to the existing Fiber Center of Excellence at the facility, the company noted. The consolidation will provide engineers at the two centers access to test and validation equipment under one roof.
The consolidation will also accommodate the dramatic increase in the number of engineering professionals at the centers, which has grown by 54% in three and a half years, according to NAI. Similarly, the required floor space has grown by 76% in that same time frame.
