(Booth 4759) InteleRad will come to Chicago armed with new features for its IntelePACS and InteleViewer software.
Intelerad has added a number of features for its InteleViewer viewing application, including freehand and volume region of interest (ROI) measurements, orthogonal measurement, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), and thumbnail tabs for access to comparison studies, according to the Montreal-based firm. Also new is the ability to save a study using DICOM Presentation State, real-time cine support for cardiac applications, and speed enhancements to its streaming capabilities.
In advanced visualization news, Intelerad will preview a PET/CT fusion module for InteleViewer, as well as maximum intensity projection (MIP) capabilities. Both modules are scheduled for a mid-2008 release.
Intelerad will also discuss a report generation and distribution module available with IntelePACS 3-5-1. Designed for teleradiology practices without a RIS, the module can handle the entire radiologist and transcriptionist workflow, the company said.
A new Roaming Users Profiles module allows organizations to offer its users multiple user profiles that will roam with them across different sites within the organization or between different IntelePACS installations. In addition, IntelePACS now features RIS gateway functionality, including automatic failover mechanisms, the company said. Support for DICOM structured reports has also been incorporated.
