Connect Imaging

(Booth 6551) PACS vendor Connect Imaging of Honolulu plans to showcase its ViewBox Mammo and SureScan systems at this year's RSNA meeting.

ViewBox Mammo handles screening and diagnostic digital studies, as well as ultrasound and MRI. It automatically hangs any number of films, with any view labels or view modifiers, without requiring input from the user, Connect Imaging said. The system also sorts additional screening views according to DICOM screening header view descriptors.

Also in Connect Imaging's booth will be its Mammographer Workstation, which allows clinicians to view prior studies for the current patient as well as the current study in progress.

SureScan digitizes prior mammography films, orients them, masks white areas of the film, and applies DICOM-required header tags. Mammo QA Manager is designed for use with SureScan, and provides mammographers with a way to view digitized film studies for label accuracy and film orientation before sending them to PACS.
