(Booth 6513) Sectra of Linköping, Sweden, plans to display its Sectra MicroDose Mammography L30 full-field digital mammography system, designed for mammography clinics and hospitals, screening and diagnostic applications, and medium- to high-volume sites.
The system features photon-counting technology, which allows for better images with lower radiation doses, according to Sectra, and is effective with advanced applications such as contrast mammography, dual-energy, and tomosynthesis. Sectra MicroDose Mammography L30 is a direct digital unit with scanning multislit geometry and a 24 x 26-cm field-of-view. Although it is available outside the United States, it has not yet been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Sectra will also highlight its Sectra Breast Imaging PACS, which allows for comprehensive workflow design, IHE Mammography Profiles, integration with existing PACS and RIS system, IDS5 soft-copy read and QA workstations, and communication between radiologists and technologists.
