ImageGrid PACS Web Viewer is a Web-based DICOM viewer that offers a range of query/retrieve capabilities, including the ability to view multiple studies side by side, according to the Irvine, CA-based firm. Other features include retrieval of multigigabyte studies for viewing, customizable prefetching of relevant priors, layout management capabilities, and image processing and viewing tools.
The viewer also includes measurement tools, handling of annotations and presentation states, reference (scout) lines, reporting features, and DICOM printing capability, Candelis said. Availability is expected in the first quarter of 2008.
Candelis will also demonstrate its ImageGrid PACS Mammography Web viewer. Providing the same features as ImageGrid PACS Web Viewer, PACS Mammography Web Viewer offers mammography hanging protocols, user-defined mammography report flow, and support for mammography computer-aided detection (CAD). Candelis hopes to release the viewer in the second quarter of 2008.
