(Booth 6933) TomoVision will discuss a new worklist module for its DICOMatic DICOM converter.

The new module allows for integration of older, non-DICOM CT, MR, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound scanners into an existing DICOM network, according to the Montreal-based firm. With the module, users don't have to manually input the patient demographic information in the old scanner; instead, the worklist information will be integrated into the resulting images during DICOM conversion, TomoVision said.

The module will be sold for $1,000, and will be available in December.
