(Booth 2513) Carestream Health of Rochester, NY, will unveil its DryView 6800 dry laser imager on the RSNA show floor.

Designed for general radiography and digital mammography applications, DryView 6800 produces 650 ppi output for images in all sizes, and throughput of up to 200 films per hour, according to Carestream. The imager supports output from all digital imaging modalities in a networked PACS environment, as well as dedicated printing from computed radiography (CR) and other digital modalities, Carestream said.

It can accommodate five film sizes in up to three film drawers, and can be equipped with an optional five-bin sorter for retrieval of films in a multimodality environment, Carestream said. The company will also emphasize DryView 6800's small footprint.

The imager is available worldwide, and its touch screen can come in English, Chinese (simplified), Korean, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, and Turkish versions.
