(Booth 1902) Pegasus has updated its PICTools software development kit and will feature it in its 2007 RSNA booth.
The new version of PICTools contains support for multithreading JPEG 2000 compression and decompression operations, according to the Tampa-based firm.
It also features a user-configurable number of threads per operation, allowing for optimal throughput on multicore CPUs, Pegasus said.
