(Booth 3147) Sorna will introduce its Reviewer software package at its RSNA booth in Chicago.
Designed to serve as a DICOM toolbox, Reviewer is standalone software that simplifies, automates, and expedites image acquisition from both DICOM and non-DICOM sources, according to the Eagan, MN-based firm. It also imports externally created images and reports contained in portable media, Sorna said.
In addition, Reviewer includes both manual and automated tools for re-identification or de-identification of patient and study information. It also creates IHE portable data for integration (PDI)-conformant CDs/DVDs that can contain DICOM objects optionally integrated with Reviewer DICOM-converted objects, Sorna said.
Reviewer can download images from a PC to an Apple iPod, and be used with an Elesys Duet drive to provide DICOM functionality with a manual CD burning and printing system, according to the company.
In other news, Sorna will also show version 2.5 of its workflow software for eXpedo CD/DVD publishing systems.
